Chicken Thanni kulambu is a thin gravy , a soup kind of consistency usually cooked in a pot with chicken pieces and certain spices stone ground. The broth from the chicken when combines with the ground spices gives a special flavor and aroma to the gravy.These gravies are from Kongunadu cuisine, mainly from Erode region. Popie Erode style Chicken Thannikulambu mix gives you Kongunadu style gravy in minutes, in which the blend is slowly pounded from hand picked Spices to make your cooking easy and experience the traditional taste.

Ginger ,Dehydrated( Garlic, Onion, Tomato), Red chilli, Coriander, Cinnamon, Cloves, Cumin, Fennel, Poppy seeds, Pepper, Cardamom, Cashew, Coconut Milk Powder, Turmeric, Salt.

Cooking Instructions

1. Fry mustard seeds and curry leaves in a cooker with required oil. Add 750gms of Chicken pieces (use with bones) and sauté for a minute.

2. Empty entire Popie's Thanni kulambu Mix and sauté until its mixed well. Add 1000 ml of water (use 1100ml for Country Chicken) and let it cook for 7 to 8 whistles in medium flame.

3. Adjust the consistency and salt. Garnish with coriander leaves.
